Yes! I had a pair of gouramis, and they’d do this. I loved those two so much. I miss them. My dog used to watch them intently when they fought.

I feel like it was more play-fighting, like how puppies “fight” and not real violence, because they never harmed each other. I’m not a fishologist though, so I could be wrong.
