Civ 6, Fallout 4
Here in Illinois is Woodstock, at ~25,600 (2020 per Wikipedia). It was the town where Groundhog Day was filmed. There’s even some small road signs here and there mentioning it for the rare tourist who comes to see it. Smallest place in the state I can think of, though there’s smaller towns that have been used for movies.
Some upcoming off-brand Hallmark x-mas movie will feature local tourist trap town Long Grove IL, pop ~ 8,300 (2020 per Wikipedia). The director grew up near there so knew about it and thought it’d be perfect for his movie.
It’s made out of NFTs.
Any game with ranged weapons is literally this. If I’m playing Fallout 4 and shoot a raider in the head then combat is initiated. That’s literally his combat works. Fuck Nintendo and fuck bullshit patents.
You can’t break the law of there’s no law to break.
I had originally not expected it to last a year of Peon Muck’s ownership, but hopefully it’ll finish dying (or fall into complete irrelevance) by the end of 2025.
Typical religion, just making up stupid shit to enforce their control over people.
Because not spend $10,000 on $1,000 worth of security camera system instead of helping poor people. Rich bastards.
I get a kick out of the idea that the apes were trying to warm off the humans because the traps are dangerous. Proof that they’re able to tell the difference between human poachers and humans they either know are good or that they’ve never seen before and are effectively “innocent” potential victims.
Ah yes. Definitely a hallucination. Nothing sinister going on here, nope.
Temu? More like Trashmu.
God? Oh you mean the Tyrant. Yeah fuck that guy, he didn’t create shit.
Then it should have been goopier lol
That would require me to have X on my phone. I do not. Because I deleted Twitter when dipshit took over.
Because it’s funnier watching the tourists get fooled that way
I hate you take my upvote.
Chicagoam here. The bean is just a stupid tourist attraction. If you want to see real outdoor art in the city, go find the Picasso. It’s like a story and a half tall, you can’t miss it.
No that’s Boston.
That’s a lie meant to fool tourists. It’s perfectly safe to lick the bean in winter. You can trust me; I’m not just a Chicagoan, I’m Sicilian.
Don’t make it easier to join. Having a technical barrier to entry, even a minor one, helps keep the idiots that ruined Reddit out. History has shown, repeatedly, that when technology is easy for anyone to adopt, then every idiot imaginable will use it and drag down the average, and the interfaces tend to be dumbed down and constantly reinvented to enable said idiots easier access. Then you’re stuck with enshitification and “graphic design is my passion” feature and UI changes that nobody wants.
