I’m not trying to change their mind. I’m trying to expose them.

You’re either an astroturfer or useful idiot spreading oil lobby talking points.
Either you believe the climate science or you don’t. If you do, you know that we don’t have time for industry protectionism.
It’s Sinophobia masquerading as news.
I don’t believe anyone should be able to claim ownership of any ideas or numbers. No math outlawed or controlled. When something is made physical, that’s an entirely different thing, but trying to control 1’s and 0’s is breaking us.
But then we also need to recognize that people need to be rewarded for their ideas, for the benefit of us all, and start subsidizing these. At the very least, we need to establish a basic standard of living that everyone is entitled to, so that people can dedicate themselves to developing ideas they’ll never profit from while not having to worry about being able to house or feed themselves.
If you think either of the only two parties allowed to run aren’t both fascists, you’re not paying attention.
Sounds fair to me!
The only benefit to attempting to push progressive policies and candidates through the existing system is to illustrate to people on the fence that system cannot be reformed, and it must be destroyed before it will represent us.
That’s a nice fantasy. But the sooner you accept reality, the sooner you can begin to get to work on actual solutions, instead of playing along with the illusion.
I’ve been calling my representatives nonstop for a year to end their support for the genocide in Palestine. When is this supposed to start working?
Been waiting for intellectual property reforms for so long, at this point I’d be willing to abandon IP laws entirely. It’s holding the species back.
It’s more difficult to run government psyops on mastodon.
That’s nice. But you should get a gun. Much more effective fighting method than deleting an app.
I’m pretty certain my country banned Kaspersky because they kept outing western backdoors and malware. And I would bet my life that Windows has supported free use government backdoors since at least Windows 10.
It was the right move, but this needs to be expanded. Assume there are state actors from all of the major countries installing backdoors.
The digital war front will be getting hit from all sides. We need extreme paranoia to protect all of the innocent bystanders. Don’t assume even your own country is trustworthy in this.
Wow. You guys got lucky. All the users I supported with them had constant issues.
I’m seriously shocked your surface is still running. I’ve never seen one last more than a year, and they usually required a lot of troubleshooting to keep them going that long.
I’m just saying it seems like a more obtainable ask.
Why not just a case with a slide out Bluetooth keyboard in the back?
As in the way you’re accusing me of “making shit up,” just because you’re not aware of decades of lobbying and astroturfing efforts by the fossil fuel industry against nuclear?
